I have been living in Canada since September 20th 2014. I had experienced winter of Canada. The

winter was really cold comparing to Korea's winter. I saw a lot of snow in Korea but the temperature

was the big problem for me. I got used to stay - 30 degrees in winter time. But I heard the last winter

was the warmest winter during several years in Canada.

Transportation system was hard for me when I first came to Canada. In my country, we can go

anywhere by only public transportation. But in Calgary, people have to drive a car to go somewhere.

Even public transportation is existed but I have to wait for a long time to take some buses. It was

annoying to me but now I am accustomed to wait the public transportation. I understand Canada is

one of the biggest countries where they have big continent. So I can wait to go somewhere for long

time.

Food is also a little bit problem for me. I never do that eating only what I want, I can eat any kind of

food but while I was eating only bread or meats, I really wanted to eat Korean food which is spicy

and lots of vegetable. So now I usually cook myself to make Korean food.

English is still a big problem for living in Canada. Actually I have been living for 8 months but I

think my English skill, especially speaking skill is not improved. I want to be a person who can

speak English very well as similar as a my native language.

There are the problems which I am dealing with but I think these are good experiences for my life

and I really like Canadian because they are really kind to other people. So I am satisfied with living

in Canada.

In long weekend, I went to my uncle's house which is located in Red deer. I wanted to meet my

cousins and helped uncle's work. In Red deer, there is nothing to do, small city. I helped my uncle for

reducing bunch of work. I just checked cigarettes and placed stuffs like pop, snacks and etc. After

finishing work, I used to play with my cousins. Playing baseball and going to swimming for how to

swim with exact position. And My aunt made Korean food for me. In Calgary I was hard to eat

perfect  Korean food. So when I ate the Korean food which was made by my aunt, it was really good

tasty.

It was a good time to stay with my relatives and I realized that immigrants are really hard to

live in a different country.

The definition of success is happiness. Money is not the vital thing in my life. Money is like a equipment to live

better life. Some people think about the most important thing in their lives is money. They pursue the money for

living their life. Money can't buy the happiness. The hardest way is to find the happiness. When I die, I hope

that I think I had a happiness life in my whole life.

I have had many failure. Every failure makes me frustrated at this time. But the time is going, my feeling is

better. I can deal with failure naturally, not making effort to overcome my failure. This is the one way how to

deal with my failure.

Don't get stress, getting your happiness in your life.

Post # 2- A Personal Connection to a Song

I would like to talk about "River flows in you". The pianist name is Yiruma. He is one of the famous

pianist in Korea. Actually I chose the different song as I wrote in essay.

Nowadays I often listen piano songs because I still have homesick. I miss my parents and friend,

especially girl friend. When I first listened that song, I feel relieved and comfortable. When I go to

bed, I listen that song and that song makes me remind my memories. I felt relaxed at this moment and

I had think someting a lot. I think some songs might make people feel alive. So that song can give

energy to me. I can overcome some problems or worries when I listen that song ! I wish you guys

listen Yiruma's piano songs !!!
