In long weekend, I went to my uncle's house which is located in Red deer. I wanted to meet my
cousins and helped uncle's work. In Red deer, there is nothing to do, small city. I helped my uncle for
reducing bunch of work. I just checked cigarettes and placed stuffs like pop, snacks and etc. After
finishing work, I used to play with my cousins. Playing baseball and going to swimming for how to
swim with exact position. And My aunt made Korean food for me. In Calgary I was hard to eat
perfect Korean food. So when I ate the Korean food which was made by my aunt, it was really good
tasty.
It was a good time to stay with my relatives and I realized that immigrants are really hard to
live in a different country.
So your uncle owns a convenience store or something in Red Deer? Sounds like it was a good trip - even though Red Deer is so small and boring ;)
ReplyDeleteI am agree that is difficult for immigrant to adapted in other country that have different manners and foods. Wonderful that you met your cousin and pass with part of your family.
ReplyDeleteThe Chinese always have these kinds of feeling that no matter where you go, when you are old you always want to back your hometown . I don't know whether Korean or western people have such same feelings?
