I have been living in Canada since September 20th 2014. I had experienced winter of Canada. The

winter was really cold comparing to Korea's winter. I saw a lot of snow in Korea but the temperature

was the big problem for me. I got used to stay - 30 degrees in winter time. But I heard the last winter

was the warmest winter during several years in Canada.

Transportation system was hard for me when I first came to Canada. In my country, we can go

anywhere by only public transportation. But in Calgary, people have to drive a car to go somewhere.

Even public transportation is existed but I have to wait for a long time to take some buses. It was

annoying to me but now I am accustomed to wait the public transportation. I understand Canada is

one of the biggest countries where they have big continent. So I can wait to go somewhere for long

time.

Food is also a little bit problem for me. I never do that eating only what I want, I can eat any kind of

food but while I was eating only bread or meats, I really wanted to eat Korean food which is spicy

and lots of vegetable. So now I usually cook myself to make Korean food.

English is still a big problem for living in Canada. Actually I have been living for 8 months but I

think my English skill, especially speaking skill is not improved. I want to be a person who can

speak English very well as similar as a my native language.

There are the problems which I am dealing with but I think these are good experiences for my life

and I really like Canadian because they are really kind to other people. So I am satisfied with living

in Canada.

I know that with your hard work you will make your dreams come true, not only English, but also your career. Best wishes!
